Child Abuse

Staff is mandated to report any suspicion of child abuse. No staff is allowed to use corporal punishment or abuse a child in any manner.

Confidentiality

Kim's Kids respects the privacy of our families, and will keep any information that you share in strictist confidence. Files are kept in secured areas.

Parent Teacher Communication/Visits

We strongly encourage parents to keep in touch with the center management and staff. We hope that you will attend our monthly parent meetings. You can also volunteer in your child's class and make suggestions.

Parent/teacher conferences are held twice per year or more if you need it. A daily or weekly infomation sheet will accompany your child depending upon the age. Newsletters will be available periodically. Please be attentive to notices and information posted at the center.

Parents are welcome to drop in at any time the child is present in the center. There is a Parent Advisory Board. We are sincere in our desire to please you. We want you and your child to be happy at Kim's Kids.

Referrals

Send as many as possible! If you are satisfied with our services, please let your friends know about it. Each family that you refer wins you a $50.00 referral fee. Both you and the new family must remain in attendance for 90 days to collect. Your referral must state your name upon admission.

Transportation

Transportation is provided on a temporary basis. Kim's Kids reserves the right to discontinue transportation to any family with a two week notice. Families who utilize the van must adhere to all rules of the center including notifying the center in advance when you will not be coming. The van does not operate in inclement weather or when the local school district is closed. Only adults listed on the file will be able to receive a child from the van.
